Our Journey Home an interview with Lee Carrollby Claire Krulikowski "The Beast has been voided." So spoke Kryon in his December 1998 address to the United Nations. This was the channeled entity's third closed session address to U.N. delegations attending the U.N.'s Society for Enlightenment and Transformation (S.E.A.T.) meeting. On that December day, Kryon, as channeled by Lee Carroll, presented a vivid picture of "a future of Earth," the catastrophes, race wars, and nuclear abominations that would be set off in -- October 1998! No, that's not a misprint. Kryon's congratulatory message: the course of human history has been changed due to the intent and efforts of Earth's people to live in peace. The catastrophic prophecies of scriptures, Nostradamus, and other seers, he stated, have been transformed due to the ongoing consciousness shift -- and, he emphasized, there is more work still to be done. To accomplish it, great assistance continues to be offered us from our family of spirit. Ascension Status Kryon first presented himself to Lee Carroll in 1989, saying that he was coming to bring about the enablement of human beings and to move the earth's magnetic grids. Lee had been working until that time as an audio specialist and says he was "not into woo-woo stuff at all," but eventually agreed to publicly channel Kryon. At first Lee didn't understand the significance of the grids of which Kryon had spoken. "It made no sense at all. I didn't understand why that would affect us. It sounded like it had more to do with the earth;Well, it turns out that we [human beings] have earned, you might say, and with permission, been given a situation where the enlightenment factor is going to be raised. The grids actually posture the DNA. The veil is being lifted somewhat so that we can have new tools." Humanity's spiritual quest, peaceful efforts, and these gifted tools are bringing about the creation of "The New Jerusalem," as Kryon refers to it, and offering people what Lee calls ascension status. "I've asked Kryon, ‘How many steps are there to ascension status?' and he says there's only one, and that is when you give intent, and that has to do with the choices we make." What does Lee mean by ascension status? "It is the ability for the human being to move into the next incarnation while on Earth without dying, and, in the process, throw away all the old contracts and co-create the new contract as they go. So you suddenly have a situation where the paradigm for life is very different for someone who's changing their DNA through their intent. "DNA is changing in such ways that it is enabling a number of attributes of a human being. To understand this, you'd have to listen to what Kryon says the DNA does for us: It is perfect. It provides 950-year life spans, contains all of the contracts, karmic records, Akashic records of who we were. So we are going through a series of steps that gradually wake us up and start to remember... "If you really want an overview of it, A Journey Home, (the fifth in the Kryon series) is a little spiritual novel that's the blueprint for ascension. It talks about a human being giving pure intent and what he's gone through, what pure intent really means and some of the tools that are given to him. "I haven't told anyone else until now, but someone has just finished the screenplay to A Journey Home, and it's going to be shopped [for a producer]. That says something about how reality is changing." New Realities: Look and You Will Find "We can see it happening all around us. We have so much validation of changed lives, changed passions, and it has to do with where we are in this timetable of 1999 as we approach a time when, literally, on the cellular level, we hadn't expected to make it past 2000." Indeed, the mass media still seems determined to provide a fear focus in their limited coverage of the upcoming millennium change, so it becomes the responsibility of individuals to maintain their focus, according to Lee. "If a person wants to place themselves above that, I would ask them to look at the overview and see a far different world than you do on the 11:00 news. That's because drama sells and fear is very marketable. There are certain kinds of journalism that'll give that to you through more in-depth coverage, such as National Public Radio. "A question was asked once about will we need a world government, and Kryon's answer was ‘no, but you're going to have to agree what everything is worth.' Suddenly we have the Euro currency, something that was expected to fall on its face, but it's just the beginning of a united Earth in my opinion. "Look at the difference in the Middle East right now. We've got two countries that are trying to put it all together by finding out who will lead them to compromise. It's no longer a question of who deserves what and assertions of ‘You took my land.' It's about who's going to give what away to make peace. You've got a bunch of terrorists that don't like that, but they're in the minority. "Kryon has talked about Saddam Hussein and says that he represents an old energy around a new consciousness, so he sticks out like a sore thumb. Even the Arabs wish he'd go away, as evidenced by how Saddam expected them to join with him, but, in their meetings [in January '99], they admonished him instead. These are the things to look at." Y2K Overview "The Y2K computer issue is a wonderful metaphor for metaphysical awakening. We've even given seminars called Are You Y2K Compliant? "Isn't it odd that back in the 1970s when they were putting together the finest codes they could design on punch cards, the best minds of our century decided to give only two digits for the year? It's almost as if none of them, on a cellular level, thought we'd ever make it [past 1999]. The Y2K concern is like saying we are not equipped to move into a brand new paradigm of life beyond the year 2000; and here we are trying our best to correct it, just as we're trying to do the same cellularly and spiritually." Asked to offer practical advice regarding potential challenges the Y2K computer issue might cause, Lee is less concerned about the financial institutions than about the power grid. "It's sensitive, so if some of it goes off the rest of it will go off; but," he adds, "it's not like they don't know where to look;If there's a power failure on December 31, they're going to go right to it. "So, if I lived in a cold weather state, I would have a little bit of wood and some food, and that's the extent of it. I don't think it's the end of the world like Time magazine was quoting." Earth Changes How is humanity's consciousness shift affecting ancient predictions of massive volcanoes, earthquakes, and floods wreaking havoc upon the earth? "In 1989, Kryon said we were going to have significant weather changes and that they are specifically about the earth changing to facilitate our new consciousness. He said we cannot have the humans on the planet change so dramatically without also having its partner change." Yet, people have a very important role in co-creating a peaceful earth healing. "Kryon has said repeatedly that ‘in the old days we gave you instruction which said that your faith could move mountains. Now we're telling you that your enablement and your power can keep them from moving.' "Kryon has talked of holding, actually anchoring, the light. Some people feel actually pulled to an area, find a place to live, and literally anchor the energy and the light and spend time visualizing the earth still. Kryon says this is not foolishness; whereas the earth could move a certain amount or there could be certain things happening, with lightworkers holding a focus it won't. Now, there's other things connected to that, such as fairness;but it's awfully simple. Plotting a map of where U.S. New Age interest is based, according to Lee's eight-year mailing list, finds it, he says, "clumped up along the western coasts with a tremendous number gathered in the Pacific Northwest and into Canada. Then it moves across and down, with very little elsewhere except Texas." Kryon says this has do to with water and the grids. When he was asked one time where people should move for the greatest enlightenment, Kryon said ‘move where it is cool,' and he was talking about the poles, so we have a lessening of the magnetic field up there. Take a look at Gregg Braden's work (Awakening to Zero Point). It's pretty profound. He talks about the Schumann Resonance, the lessening of the magnetic field. He kind of plots what Kryon's doing;without knowing about Kryon." Healing our attitudes toward the earth is important for other reasons. For example, Kryon says that deforestation has released deadly viruses that the forests had held in balance. "There is nothing small about the singular prayer," Lee says. He notes laboratory studies using control groups in which people prayed for other people's healing, and the vast majority of those who were prayed for received healing, while the control group did not. "We know that energy is transmitted, but I'm happy to see somebody finally took the ball to prove it works. Now we have consciousness over physics, so if you're inclined to pray for someone, do it. Prayer and love balance energy;It combines with others and creates critical mass. What you don't know is how many other people are having the same idea at the same time you are." What can people personally do as changes continue to occur in their life and in world events? "Go back to the principles," Lee says, "which are to wake up and celebrate, give intent for the peaceful new day every time instead of waking up as a victim. "Not long ago," he explains, "a poll was taken to find out how many people believed in an afterlife, and the answer was 85% of the world's population. That's astonishing that there are more people who do than don't! If they believe in an afterlife, they believe in God, and they believe there's more than just here! I think that's a real good start for making spirituality the mainstream; We're all trying to find the angel inside is what Kryon says."
