The Winds of Change: Prophecies and Predictions for the Mayan New Year of 9 IK by Aluna Joy Yaxk'in Humanity is in the throes of a great initiation. We are entering a final step before we ascend together into a higher order, an evolved species, a multidimensional reality. At the spring equinox, as the great solar force balances the energy on Mother Earth, humanity will have entered a critical turning point. As many old doors close for the last time, new cosmic doorways will open into a year of choice, empowerment, personal responsibility, surrender, and the challenge to find balance in chaos. Humanity will find itself living in an unstable space between the old and new worlds, between yesterday and tomorrow. Earth and humanity are entering the Mayan year of 9 IK, the changeable, unstable spirit-filled year of the Solar Wind. Most sentient beings of Mother Earth are quite aware of the intense energies of the past six months. I know as you read this, many of you are silently screaming, "Enough, I need a vacation!" I am sorry to say it is not over yet, and now nearly everyone on the planet will feel, grow, and expand with the accelerated changes. Even though our egos are screaming for mercy, our spirits have never been more exhilarated at the cosmic event that is about to take place. This universal milestone will not only affect humanity and our earth, but the entire galaxy! Humanity can expect accelerated change on all levels, materially, physically, mentally, and spiritually. We are in the cosmic birth canal and are approaching what the ancients call the shift of the ages. The universe is tempering humanity into sturdy warriors of light. We are in training for the biggest universal evolutionary jump ever experienced. Our earth's hologram, and the way we relate to it, is radically changing. Our spiritual and physical lives are merging into one. Life is becoming up-front and personal. We are being asked to apply the great spiritual teachings that we have learned to our daily situations. Everything we have been and will be in the future will merge into who we are right now! It is the year to fine-tune our path on all levels, all dimensions, and all time frames. It is time to let go of all that does not serve the higher universal plan. It will be imperative to transcend human ego and release our addiction to drama. Roller coaster frequencies and lower magnetics will transform our deepest, darkest secrets. Long-forgotten issues will arise free of any restrictions to timelines, thus making present-time healing possible. Memories and automatic programs that do not serve a higher purpose will be vaporized in an intense solar wave. The boundaries between our dreamtime and 3-D reality will thin to a point that at times we may not know if we are dreaming or awake. The reality of our dreams will bridge over to our waking lives. We will be able to see the fiber connecting all our experiences: past, present, and future, awake and dreaming. That time is collapsing will be obvious. Karma will appear to dissolve as karma; negative ego and fear cannot pass into the new world. All will be washed away. All will be purified. We will be challenged to evolve into authentic humans. We will be asked to be true to our feelings, true to our path, and speak truth, no matter what the opposition or evidence to the contrary may be. What is not serving the higher frequencies will blow away in the wind. This year, we have the opportunity to refine our position in the great universal plan. It is highly important that our choices are wise and we scrutinize our motivations thoroughly, because we will manifest our heart's intentions in physical reality by the end of this year. As humanity becomes more authentic, speaking blatant truth through love will emerge. Many will employ "tough love" to situations, not out of revenge but out of honor and respect. Addictions and dysfunctions will be brought to the light to heal. There is no time to dance around issues any longer. It is time to get authentic, and speak truth. The gray areas between self-confidence and ego, judgment and discernment will become clearer. Family, community, and global groups will evolve to a deeper level of communication and will let go of superficial relationships. Intense solar energy activated by solar flares will transform obsolete foundations and programs and systems that we have come to trust and rely upon. Programs, systems, institutions, belief systems, and dogmas based in illusion, lies, fear, ego, control, and misuse of power will blow away with the solar wind and will be transformed within the burning fire of the sun. Headstrong ways will lead to failure, and we will need to engage the heart in all our actions and decisions. Politics based in power will give way to politics infused with wisdom and acknowledgment of human oneness. It is time to know when to let go and flow with the cosmic tide. It is time to learn to surf the solar waves. Resistance will be ineffective in holding the in-flowing cosmic energy at bay. It has its own powerful momentum and is a raging river of light. The universe is evolving, and we are a part of the universe. We will realize "as above, so below, and so without, so within" as a heart knowing, not just a mental understanding. It fact, heart knowing will begin to gain as much respect as mental learning this year. We will realize that finding authentic truth can come through accessing our heart temples and whole-body brain within every cell of our bodies, our DNA. There is nowhere to go but forward. This transformation will be noticeable to all of Mother Earth. Foundations, programs, systems, institutions, and belief systems already in place that serve the great universal plan will begin to grow stronger. Only that which holds the higher collective vision will survive. In the face of chaos, much good will arise for the benefit of humanity. The solar winds will leave no other options, as the only solution will be for previously opposing groups to work together as a community to solve problems. The entire population of Mother Earth as a whole will lead a more defined spiritual path, and will be inspired to live healthier lifestyles. Corporations will join forces with like-minded groups to feed the hungry and house the homeless and to heal the pollution on the planet. Global community will begin to manifest as the barriers between nationality, age, race, and gender are replaced with the consciousness of the human family and deepening community. Proof of mind over matter will come forth in the news. Science will prove that prayer and meditation and positive thinking heals. The types of collective searches that pool vast perspectives and a wide range of talents will discover creative solutions to end the turmoil on Earth. This year can be fickle, inconsistent, and uncertain. Although we may feel alert and on top of things, inside we may struggle with confusion and uncertainty about a course of action. The number of possibilities for solutions will increase dramatically, and issues will now take deep contemplation before we can choose a correct path of action. Humanity may go from idea to idea until we find balance in chaos. We will feel driven to really understand the world in which we live; this may be a great challenge, as everything will be changing all at once. Our newly developed adaptability to change will also translate to a quickening of our mental processes. Communication skills will become advanced, and quite important, as authentic global community merges. Psychic abilities will expand also this year, and we will be able to grasp similarities between seemingly different perspectives, creating a common ground between what had been considered hopeless issues and situations. Imagination and idealism are powerful components of an IK year, and this can lead to disappointments. Also be aware of difficulties with commitment, indecisiveness, and problems with responsibility and obligation. Things are changing so fast that it is hard to make decisions or commit to anything. When in doubt, don't! In this changeable year, it may feel that we have has lost touch with the Creator. We may feel betrayed, abandoned, or separated from the normal flow. Now it is time for us to commit to being here, on this planet, at this time, and wipe away the haze of indecision. Take charge. Prepare for shift. Make your choices with great respect and consideration. What radiates from your heart temple this year will be the cornerstone for your future.
