Lee Carroll broke many of the old paradigms when he stepped into the metaphysical arena in 1992 as the channel for the spiritual entity known as Kryon. Lee was by no means an archetype of the New Age. He had never set eyes on a metaphysical book, and would never have gone to a psychic if not for the urging of his wife, Jan Tober. He was a practical businessman, not a "fruit loops and wind chimes New Ager," as he laughingly recalls. While Lee was button-down and conventional, Jan was an active metaphysician. With her gentle nudging, Lee reluctantly went to see a psychic in 1989. During the session, the psychic told Lee that a "magnetic master" by the name of Kryon was trying to get in touch with him. The pragmatic Lee ignored the message and went about his business. Three years passed, and Jan again urged Lee to see another well-known psychic who was in town. Again, the psychic told Lee that an entity was trying to contact him, and actually spelled out the name K-R-Y-O-N. This time Lee couldn't ignore the message. Today, Lee is the publisher of four best-selling New Age books, with two more books to be introduced in late 1997. Nearly eleven thousand people have participated in Kryon workshops in the U.S. and Canada, and Carroll has twice been invited to channel Kryon at the United Nations. Kryon's published predictions have been validated in the scientific press, including information about gamma rays, changing magnetic readings, comets, and DNA healing technologies. Unlike the typical "doom and gloom" predictions, the Kryon message is about love and honor for all humans on Earth at this time as we make our transition into the new energy. Geoffrey: Who is Kryon, and why is he here at this time? Lee: Kryon is a spiritual entity who has come to change the grid structure of the planet. This will allow for more enlightenment as a gift of this new age. He has told us that the grid structure is related to the "veil," and this will give us more enlightenment. He comes with a message that we have changed our future...that is why he is here. Kryon says that the future is a moving target to this day, and that is why the predictions of Nostradamus, Gordon Michael Scallion and many others - old and new age prophets - are falling by the wayside. Kryon brings a message of tremendous love, and, above all, of human enablement. The focus of Kryon's message is simple and loving: It is time for us, who are parts of God walking in biology, to become fully enabled, fully integrated with spirit. On the surface, this is not a flashy message; rather, it is one that is very personal and very deep. Geoffrey: What's been the consistent Kryon message since you first began channeling? Lee: Even from the beginning in Book I, Kryon's message has been about a New Age that gives us new gifts of human enablement. And that message has never changed...it has only grown in intensity, and the overview has become clearer. A lot of people felt in the past that it was odd to have such a loving, self-enabled message come from the mechanic Kryon, and it was only this year that we learned through channel that Kryon is of the family of Lord Michael. That doesn't mean Kryon is Lord Michael; it means he is of the family. They travel together...they have the same inter-dimensional spiritual overlay. Those who felt that loving presence of Lord Michael in the very personal approach that Kryon has may now understand why. Geoffrey: What changes or trends have you seen in the Kryon channeled information in the past year? Lee: If I go back to 1992, I see that there has been such a change in the channeling. I just reported to you in the last question that the message had remained the same. The changes have been in the specifics and in the love energy projected. It's almost like the energy of the planet is changing every single year to the degree where the channel becomes clearer and clearer and clearer. Even though Book I is still the most popular, the actual physical channels are becoming far more specific as to what people can do on a day-to-day basis. Geoffrey: As Kryon has received greater worldwide recognition, he has also become the subject of some controversy. This past year there was a coordinated effort by an individual to brand Kryon as the "great cosmic evil." How did you handle this attack, and what would you now say to that individual? Lee: You're absolutely right. It was an intense, coordinated attack that went literally all over the continent, even extending into Europe. What we did was to simply love the individual. We understood firmly that it was a misunderstanding about the nature of the Kryon message and work, and we understood that there was a greater lesson in it for all of us. As far as combating it, Kryon asked us to be quiet and let the pure truth do the work. In all honesty, it did hurt me to think that one light worker could attack another. But that particular light worker's newsletter has reflected some interesting changes since then. This past year the newsletter reported something that Kryon brought to this planet in 1989: that in this new energy you can release your karma. A recent headline of the newsletter of the one who attacked was, "You Can Be Free of Karma." So this person may not like Kryon, but she has come to accept the message. Geoffrey: On the other hand, some people have recently claimed that Kryon is "non-sensational." How would you address those charges? Lee: Kryon says there is nothing more sensational on the planet at this moment than what is taking place as part of the human enablement process, the key to our new energy. Just think: we can live longer lives, find our sweet spot, find our purpose, have eternal peace in the process...all because of the new gifts of spirit happening at this time. Kryon says this is the most sensational news. What would be more sensational to you: to go outside and watch a spaceship land, or to find your bliss in life: the perfect job, the perfect mate, and to live a wonderful, healthy life? What is more sensational? That is why I wrote the article about "Spiritual Sensationalism," with the admonishment to "put away your lawn chairs." There is so much more to this New Age than the latest comet or UFO sighting. Geoffrey: You're one of the few channelers to be invited to the United Nations, and the only one to be invited twice [November 1995 and November 1996]. What has been Kryon's message to the UN? Lee: The message to the United Nations is hard to briefly convey, but both times Kryon mentioned the high-energy experiments going on in Alaska called HAARP. He's admonished us two things: one, to please slow the experiments down, and two, to have a consensus and clear understanding from the other countries of the planet before they continue with the experiments. Kryon talked about this in both channels to the UN. Kryon also talked to the UN about the dangers of planetary defoliation. He warned that the forests carry a balance of energy and that, by upsetting the balance, we could - and have - released dangerous viruses. Kryon talked at length about the "wisdom of the ancient ones," saying that these ancient people understood the balance of the earth. He suggested that the UN should have a committee or group within its organization to listen to the ancients. Then, he made a point to stress that in our new energy, peace is no longer an option; it is a necessity. He noted that this planet couldn't exist in the vibratory state it is moving toward and also sustain war. He specifically said, "Make peace with the dragon," meaning China. And finally, Kryon had some admonishments on the ET visitors. Geoffrey: What did Kryon say about the ETs? Lee: Kryon said that the ones who are visiting the planet right now have no relationship to the ones we're going to meet someday, and that those we're meeting now wish to trick us...and that we should not believe them. Another thing I have to say about the UN visit: Over nine thousand people report to work in that building each day, and that most of them are humanitarians. Only about six hundred are politicians. The humanitarians deal with world hunger, they deal with placement of orphans on the planet, and they deal with disease control. There are tremendous amounts of good things going on at the UN even though many feel it is an ineffective organization filled with politicians. The good news is that there's a bright spot at the UN called the S.E.A.T., which stands for the Society of Enlightenment and Transformation, whose president is Cristine Arismendy. It's encouraging that we have a venue to talk about these very things...the new age gifts, what's happening on the planet, and ETs. It was a delight for me to find that kind of support in the UN. Geoffrey: What message does Kryon have for The New Times' readers regarding the current energy changes and the events coming in the next few years? Lee: Acceleration is the key. The new energy vibration is going to continue to get higher and faster. What this means is that there's going to be a larger energy gap between those of the old energy and those who are vibrating at a higher rate; those that have really given intent to moving forward in their path. We will have a lot of personal changes. Not necessarily earth changes, but personal changes: realizations about jobs, partnerships, families, spirit and purpose. You're going to wake up one morning and realize that some of your friends and some of your situations aren't appropriate anymore. And you will say goodbye to these things in pure love, but you will realize that they are not offering you anything valuable. You will move on to a whole new set of situations and emotions. You will find that family members, if they are not pacing with you, are going to be a problem because they are postured in the old energy. The gap is going to widen, and this will have an effect on light workers. It is very obvious as we move past the third dimension, broaching the fourth in vibration, that there will be a chasm between the old-energy humans and those moving to higher vibration by intent. Geoffrey: Won't this cause a lot of conflict in the lives of light workers? How can they handle this chasm of energy, especially with friends and family? Lee: It's going to be a personal, individual, one-by-one case every time. Choice is the option. Many people will choose literally not to go so fast because it doesn't suit them, and that's fine. By doing that, they are showing tolerance of the ones they are around. So they may wish to slow down their vibrational process in order that the others might catch up. If they choose to continue a fast-paced vibrational increase, they should honor others for where they are at the moment. They can move into ascension status rapidly and then help others who need a hand moving into the higher vibration. Geoffrey: Should light workers, then, release all of the "old" energy things and surround themselves with new, higher-vibrational friends and associates? Lee: Not necessarily. The critical thing to remember is that there is a tendency to group with others of like mind and vibration, to become "cultish," if you will. This is what Kryon has warned against - that we may want to be with like-minded people. The challenge is to integrate, and continue to integrate as much as possible into the world, because this is the way that lower-vibration people can see your light. And without [your] being evangelistic, they can say, "What is it with you?" and you have an opportunity to share the love in your heart, to share what you have found to be your truth. It's important to remember this: that everyone walking on this planet, Ð whether it's those in corporate America, whether it's healers and facilitators, or whether its those sitting in jail - everyone is just like you. They have a plan, a contract; they're a being of God walking in lesson. You are not any more special than they are; it's just that you have seen something that they have not yet seen. Your task is simply to integrate your light into their dark, simply by being. Geoffrey: How can light workers keep themselves balanced and healthy while doing the work? Lee: I've always turned to what Kryon has said is the elixir, the balancer, the energy builder. It is the simple words, "Sit in the chair!" And what that is beginning to mean to those who have followed the Kryon teachings is that there is an angel sitting in a chair, and that the angel has your face on it. That angel is the piece of God in us that deserves to be on the planet by appointment, with permission, that is always a handshake away as your partner. When you claim that self-worth, it is a real tool in energy building, in moving forward and dealing with the day-to-day work that you have to do. Sitting in the chair will give you peace of mind. You will need less sleep, less food, and you will have more energy. That's the catalyst of self-worth: to realize that you're a piece of God. And sitting in your chair allows you to begin to feel and experience this. "Sitting in you chair" should be something you do every single day of your life. It could be a meditation that only lasts a few minutes, and it is a celebration that you are a piece of God and that you deserve to be here. Kryon talks about the specific steps in doing this in the seminars, but it involves intent, verbalization, ceremony and commitment. This melding with higher self in the golden chair is the beginning of the ascension status. When you sit with that part of you that is God, you can't help but vibrate at a higher level. Geoffrey: Is there anything else you want to mention to the readers that will be pertinent in the coming year? Lee: We hear so much these days about earth changes, ET visits, passing into other dimensions, etc. Many of these things may happen, but know that it is nearly impossible to predict the timetable for such activity, because we, the humans on this planet, are changing the vibrational level, and therefore our future changes so quickly. These "catastrophic" predictions tend to instill fear in us, rather than having us focus on becoming the I AM that we are. Yes, we are likely to see volcanoes, earthquakes and ETs. But if you truly want to be prepared for these, it is time right now to sit in your golden chair; to see your face in the angel sitting in the chair, and to become an enabled human. Then, no matter what happens or where it happens, you will be in the right place at the right time, and, most importantly, with the right tools. You will be able to move through the seeming chaos with peace, and to help those who are filled with fear move into a higher place within themselves. Kryon talks so much about enablement because it will prepare us for whatever will happen. The irony is that nobody can predict what will happen, so [it's] best we focus on what we do have control over - ourselves - instead of events which are moving targets in the future.
