An interview with Barbara Hand Clow
The most recent quickening occurred during a workshop given by Barbara Hand Clow at the recent NewLife Expo in Seattle. Her intention was to awaken and connect the participants with the nine dimensions of consciousness. I’ve been through similar initiations before, but never with this kind of impact. Barbara Hand Clow is an internationally noted astrologer, ceremonial leader, author, and editor. She authors a synthesis of her trilogy, The Mind Chronicles (which is an exploration of three hundred thousand years of human consciousness on Earth) and her two astrological research books, Chiron: Rainbow Bridge Between the Inner and Outer Planets, and The Liquid Light of Sex: Understanding Your Key Life Passages. Barbara’s most recent book, The Pleidian Agenda: A New Cosmology For The Age Of Light, describes advanced multidimensional perceptual skills that are becoming available to all people on Earth now. Her ability to describe these skills opened during a series of initiations she conducted with Hakim Nazlit Essaman of Giza, Egypt, in the Great Pyramid. Barbara teaches these techniques at sacred sites and in workshops around the world. She covers the multidimensional energies that have influenced humankind over history, and how they operate. She makes it clear enough that, in our entrance into the Age of Aquarius, we are designed to merge with the nine dimensions to eventually become the body of Christ. After the workshop at the New Life Expo, Barbara gave the following interview to me for The New Times. I was mesmerized by her clarity, as her statements poured out with such precision. I knew I was listening to another dimension. Candy: What can we expect to experience as we move into the new Age of Aquarius? Barbara: As we move into Aquarius, we’re letting go of the old archetypes of the Age of Pisces. Pisces had to do with developing our emotional bodies and our feeling consciousness. It had to do with opening up and awakening the Christ consciousness. As we move into the Age of Aquarius, all of that emotional body work and the development of Christ consciousness actually becomes our own energy. We become Christ consciousness ourselves. Instead of processing our emotional bodies all the time, we will become much more involved as existing in energy bodies, meaning, we will become multi-dimensional. We will be moving deeper and deeper into an integral sense of self, as an energy body that’s in multi-dimensional access. Candy: Will we be able to see the photon band as we enter it? Barbara: Our entry into the photon band is a gradual process. It really started impacting us in 1972. Right now, we’re getting close to the most intense part of the entry, which is when the sun moves into the photon band. I don’t think it’s a matter of seeing it. By our being in the solar system, the mental part of ourselves is ruled by Mercury, the feeling or feminine part of ourselves is Venus, Mars is male aggression, and so on. As each one of those planets is moving into the photon band, we’re having different parts of ourselves integrating this photonic energy. It would be a transmutation of our awareness, where we’re moving much more into light and less into density. The key point is when the sun enters the photon band, which will occur from 1998 to 2000. The sun is our central sense of self, so that’s when I think we’re going to have the most intense level of awakening. Our whole essential self is going to turn into a sense of light. If you think about it, isn’t it incredible! For about the last four hundred years, during the age of science, our god really has been materialism. Once we defined ourselves as atoms, we defined ourselves as material. We have been worshiping materialism, which has now become the ultimate end for consumerism. We’re now consuming material because it’s our god. I think the issue with our moving into the photon band would be that we begin learning to dematerialize. We will work with ourselves as energy bodies and light bodies. In fact, the real reason we are centered here on the earth is as a sense of perception and a sense of consciousness. If moving into the photon band means dematerialism, does that mean that a lot of people are going to die? Will there be a lot of destruction of things? I don’t know the answer to that, but I do know one thing: we have gone to the absolute end-point of consumerism. We are consuming the planet. I think it will be a positive outcome, but I really don’t know how it’s going to work out. Candy: Maybe getting away from consumerism will help us move closer into our ability to connect to those other dimensions. Barbara: I think so! In the teaching of The Pleiadian Agenda, the photon band is the trigger for us in becoming multidimensional. I also use the word, galacta-centric. As we develop the sense of selves in the galaxy itself, we don’t need to be that material, as long as we have a firm sense of self. My favorite book on this is Hidden Heart of the Cosmos, by Brian Swimme. Brian Swimme is doing a fabulous job of showing how to come to the end of consumerism. And, now we’re coming into the cosmic sense of ourselves. Candy: How do we train ourselves to have access to all dimensions? Barbara: The Pleiadian Agenda itself is a teaching book on how to become multidimensional. It’s possible for any one of us to get in touch with the nine dimensions of consciousness — and that means from getting in touch with the Gaia, all the way to the angelic planes. It’s a full range. We can all do it. There’s no reason why anyone can’t. The way to do it is readily available! Candy: The best way for me to connect to the nine dimensions is through shamanic journeying. Barbara: Right! In fact, The Pleiadian Agenda is a shamanic journeying technique. When I teach it as a meditation, I’m teaching it as shamanic journeying. It has its own special quality because it has a conceptual framework. It seems to be very powerful for people involved in Western civilization and Intellectualism. But, that’s just one way among many. In our culture, we have wonderful record banks, such as the indigenous and Egyptian record banks. The book integrates all of those knowledge sources that many of us value so much. Candy: How else are you personally preparing for all of the changes coming up? Barbara: This is where I feel really fortunate. I’m out teaching people about the process that helps with the changes. I have a wonderful opportunity, because when I’m teaching people, I learn from them! That’s why I spend so much time on questions and answers, because people just keep saying things that strike me. I’m preparing by learning. Also, we’re living closer to the earth, and living in a more simple way. We’re growing our own food, dealing with animals more, and we’re getting more prepared in technology. For years, I wanted to have a garden, and recently I knew it was time to have one. We knew we needed to grow our own food. If you look at the food chain, we are depleted in minerals. The best way to get those minerals is to grow your own food in healthy soil. I also think what most of us are doing with alternative medicine and alternative health is a preparation in itself. There will be changes, and I’m not sure what they are going to be. So, we just need to follow our intuition. Candy: You wrote about Alcyone and the Galactic Center as being able to pick up our vibrations and feelings on earth via our moon. How does that work? Barbara: All of the bodies in the universe, the planets and star systems, are all in touch with each other vibrationally. The core crystal center of Earth is linked with Alcyone, and with all the stars. The moon is the astronomical body that reads our feelings, or our feeling bodies — it’s our reflector. By the core crystal being in vibrational resonance with Alcyone or the Galactic Center, the reflection of the moon consciousness actually gets picked up by the iron core crystal, then resonates out. Candy: That makes sense! It blew me away to read in the book about how even our blood contains crystals. That would have something to do with it! If we drink silica that can be bought over the counter, does that help us get more in tune with the higher consciousness? Barbara: I think drinking silica or taking it as a supplement awakens crystal unconsciousness. Sometimes I take silica in tablet form. As far as I can see, we’re moving from carbon base to silica base in our sensitivity. Candy: The Pleiadian Agenda really goes into detail on the number of energies from other dimensions that have influenced us throughout history. I know it’s impossible to get away from it, but how can we minimize being so influenced by other realms? Barbara: I wouldn’t want to! The reason why I’m attempting to define it so well is that I do believe that the amount in our being impulsed and energized is intensifying like crazy. No matter what you try to do, it’s not going to go away. I, personally, don’t want it to go away. I’m trying to work with it by building a description of it, to find ways to play with it, to create with it. The only other alternative would be for this dimension to become more entrapping and more powerful...and that’s not right. This dimension should be just a place to exist where we can be in touch with all those things. Just because we’re located here, doesn’t mean we’re trapped here! Candy: The big question everyone wants to know: how will the Age of Pisces end? Barbara: The movement from Pisces into Aquarius occurs over a three hundred-year period. We have been letting go of crises somewhat in the early twentieth century, but the shift really started in the 1960s. I don’t usually say too much about this, because it’s so awesome. At the end of the Age of Pisces, it will be the completion of the body of knowledge that we need to understand Christ. It would be the maturation of our feelings and our emotional bodies, so that we can comprehend Christ. What happens is that once you comprehend Christ, you become Christ. The Age of Pisces is the taking on of the Christ consciousness and the Christ body in all of the planet, in all of the people. Candy: Wow! I can’t wait! Barbara: It really is awesome, isn’t it? |
I always know when I’ve experienced a quickening of my vibrational level. It’s followed by weeks, sometimes months, of insomnia, an anxiousness that holds a euphoric center of calm, extraordinary intuitive foresight, and deep meditations that are loaded with remarkable insight. Like a powerhouse, I don’t quite know what to do with it all. Life is no longer normal. So, I strive to focus on the inner voice of my dreams and meditations, and follow the guidance I am given.
