I am sensing a lot of physical change for people in the areas of either work, home, or relationship this month. I also feel that the month will be divided into two parts. The first two weeks, there will be a focus on intuition in regard to choice, and the last two weeks, the mind will play a bigger part in bringing balance to choice.

Let me explain: the first two weeks, we will be moving toward our goals with trust and faith, knowing it is the right thing to do. That is the intuition at work — perfect! I like that there is movement around what we sense intuitively, instead of standing in fear not knowing which way to go. That movement comes from all the work we have been doing in the area of intuition since the end of last year.

Our intuition has been heightened, so we can walk forward into the unknown without hesitation; I love that. Watch your interactions with people and the situations you are in these first two weeks; see how you make choices and move with those choices just by instinct alone. The second two weeks, the mind comes more strongly into the picture. We get to see those choices we have made the first two weeks more clearly; now, with logic added, the puzzle is complete. Because intuition has been brought into balance with the mind this month, grace is so beautifully present.

Time, by and large, is energy, just like anything else in the universe. Is it me, or does time seem to be moving faster and faster? Especially in the past year, I feel like my perception of time is that the world is constantly speeding up, and I find myself losing track of it. How can I win my time back?

What a fun question! Time is of the mind. Some say that time doesn't exist outside of this planet. I agree, since I spend a great deal of time working with guides and the other side, where time doesn't exist.

Yes, energy on the planet is speeding up. It's a good thing, because it is possible to attain higher levels of consciousness than ever before as a result. I get that you are an empath, meaning that you pick up a lot of people's emotions and energy daily; you're a sponge, which is not a bad thing, by the way. I'm saying this because it looks like it's hard for you to deal with both your day and so many others around you all at the same time. It can be a weighty feeling, especially when trying to accomplish personal goals.

I feel that it would be beneficial for you to create your own style of meditation every day to help focus your energy the way you want and be able to keep that focus during the day. It looks like music and having your life in order calms your mind; music with a beat especially stands out. I'd love for you to take only a couple of minutes in the morning to write down a few things you’d like to accomplish in that day: physical, spiritual, even mental goals.

Definitely only meditate for a couple of minutes, and take each day one at a time. The music will help to calm and focus your mind. Remember: the beat of the music is important for you, and writing your daily goals down will bring foundation and order to your day. Meditation is simply being able to calm your mind. When choosing a meditation, I believe in choosing something that is passionate for you so it will be fun and you'll want to do it. Being more conscious of your energy, your mind, and your goals will help to make better use of the speedy feeling of time. Everything in life is choice. Having more clarity makes it all much more simple and not so complicated.

My husband and I want to get pregnant. Do you see a baby coming in the next year?

— Waiting for Baby

I do see you getting pregnant in the beginning of next year, around February. I get the feeling that when that time comes around, you probably would rather wait until that summer. You’re going to be an amazing mother, by the way. You're such a nurturing and aware person. Please make sure that you are just as nurturing to yourself as you are to others.

The picture I get is that you put a lot of energy into your relationship, friends, and people around you. I'm mentioning this to you because if you add a baby to the mix, you most likely will get pretty drained, energy-wise. It's fabulous to give to people, of course; it does feels good. Simply in every situation and every conversation you're in, consider whether it feels nurturing to you.

You're so aware that I know it will be easy for you to see where you could add a little self-nurturing, even if you have to ask for it.

My dog, a German short-haired pointer named Hannah, has recently begun urinating on things that only belong to me, like my pillow and my backpack, and she only chews up things that belong to my wife, like her socks, etc. What’s up with her and what can I do?

— Dogged in Duvall

Children and animals are amazingly sensitive to feelings. When we feel off, so do they. I’m saying this to you because it looks like you’ve been going through a lot of changes in your life. It actually looks like Hannah is playing with your wife around the sock thing. I see more of a joking energy around that. The energy I get around the urinating is frustration, in you and in your dog. I want to address this issue more than the sock thing, because I keep getting a sense of play around the socks. Not that it isn’t a big thing, but I’m seeing that the socks are more like her toys.

Going back to the changes in your life, it looks you’re taking on a lot more stress lately than usual. Time at home lately feels more serious and less fun. That’s why Hannah picks up your stress and acts out in a way: not for attention, just venting the stress for you.

What I’d love you to do is to find a vent or a meditation for your stress. Doing this with Hannah and finding an activity you both can do together would be phenomenal. How about just hanging out together, or going outside (but not around a lot of people)? Outside looks like it calms you, and I would say only for a short amount of time so it’s easy to fit in your schedule. Including Hannah in your meditation will be beneficial for both of you.
