If you havent checked out our Web site lately or ever this may be a great time to do so. The address is <www.newtimes.org> (weve printed a friendly reminder on the bottom of every page). Weve been working hard to add many upgrades, particularly over the past year. You'll find a large selection of the cutting-edge articles that have been The New Times' foundation since 1985, archived and waiting for you to reopen their pages. All articles and reviews on our site are searchable, so it's easy to look for topics of particular interest by keyword. If you share our passion for a healthy exchange of ideas and the linking of like-minded thinkers, participate in our online forum, or check out our guidelines for freelance submissions. Our upcoming events listings and classified ads (updated monthly) and our carefully chosen links are just a few of the resources that we, as a nexus for our community, are pleased to offer. We also offer a searchable database of our advertisers, which includes services and products that they offer but dont always mention in their ad copy. The world could hardly be hungrier today for love and healing than it is today. Both our Internet and print editions are dedicated to providing just that by helping you find exactly what you are looking for: inspiration, how-to information, and a connection with people who share your values and interests. One of my intents for our work here is to energize the businesses that are working to make our world a better place: the community of businesses from which we draw our advertisers. December marks an addition to our family to help with that. Tammy Foss will be joining our staff, bringing not only outstanding academic credentials in advertising and marketing, but also several years of relevant experience. She is enthusiastic about the work that our advertisers undertake, and will be making an important difference in the coming months. Join us as we celebrate our 200th issue, then stay with us as we move into new and exciting territory! |
