Mars/Saturn both in earth signs is a sign of strong will and the ability to persevere. With Mars/Saturn, you can focus your willpower and achieve highly productive results. The only challenge with these two planets is to not drive yourself too hard by being overly attached to the outcome of whatever you are trying to accomplish. Coming right before the election, this could indicate that there is considerable collective energy for a third-party bid as Uranus/Chiron speaks of following one’s truth even if others don't agree. November 3 Mars enters Libra With Mars in Libra from November 3-December 23, our energy and will is focused on creating greater balance in our lives. Although the sign of Libra is often depicted as somewhat "wishy-washy," the truth is that Libran energy can be quite strong. Mars in Libra, in particular, is the champion and defender of justice, and can be quite bold and outspoken when things become unjust. While Mars is in Libra, we become the adjudicators or arbitrators of justice in our lives, speaking out against any injustice that is pulling us out of balance. This is particularly relevant to personal relationships. With Mercury going direct in Libra, this bodes well for making balanced decisions and weighing the truth as we step up to the voting booth. November 8-11 Mars trines Neptune Mars in Libra will be in flowing relationship with Neptune in Aquarius from November 8-11. Mars/Neptune aspects speak of aligning personal will (Mars) with divine will (Neptune). These are the penultimate aspects of letting go or surrendering our personal will so that we can be guided by spirit. Mars/Neptune is a clarion call for humanitarian action and compassion. With the full moon in Taurus, the emphasis is on listening to the needs of your body. When was the last time you had a massage or just took the time to take care of your body? When was the last time you took a walk in nature or just opened to the awesome beauty of the earth? Use the full moon in Taurus to get in touch with your needs for touch, sensuality, being in nature, and taking care of your body. Your body will really appreciate you for taking the time to check in! November 12 Venus enters Capricorn Venus journeys through the sign of Capricorn this month from November 12 through December 3. Venus is the planet associated with the heart chakra: what has "heart" for you, what you are passionate about or what you value. When it is in the sign of Capricorn, you feel the effect of Capricorn’s ruling planet, Saturn, as well. Saturn represents the principle of manifestation, or your ability to ground yourself in the physical world. With Venus in Capricorn, you will tend to be more pragmatic or realistic about what you can accomplish. This is a great time to look at how you can ground your financial position (Venus) by increasing your assets and streamlining (Saturn) your liabilities. Use Venus in Capricorn to come up with a solid plan for saving money or paying off accumulated debt. It's like the warrior going on a crusade in support of a lofty vision. Use this Mars/Jupiter transit to amp up your idealism and get into action! Since both planets are in air signs, which represent an intellectual focus, this is a great time for completing projects that have to do with writing, communicating, or disseminating information to others. November 21 Sun enters Sagittarius The sun enters the sign of Sagittarius on November 21 at 5:19 a.m. After the decay and transformation achieved in Scorpio, the natural world is now teeming with new life; earthworms are breaking down the decayed material and replenishing the soil with new energy. The earth is expanding the simple materials left over into complex nutrients needed for new life. The Sagittarius principle expands the concrete mind (knowledge) by demonstrating how meaning is created through the understanding of diversity (wisdom).
