I think of my journey here on this planet as a viewer: the hawk, from the outside, or upside, looking down. It is very easy to get caught up inside the matrix, the mass hallucination created by the mass consciousness in order to numb itself "over and out." Instead of truly experiencing the human journey in all its forms, many choose to simply turn off. Others isolate themselves within a "safety zone" of religion, family, sect, or cult. Others see fit to shave their heads, don a robe of some sort, and Zen out. Now, I ask you, is that being a participatory human being, which Id like to rename a human doing? Hardly. My journey as a spiritual warrior in the body of a middle-aged American Italian grandma from New York City has taken many surprising turns. One thing I can truly claim is that my journey here has not been for naught, nor has it been flat. It is a continuous collage of multileveled, rainbow-colored journeys to and through and beyond the self. We are taught from infancy that the key to life is the self: getting to be one with the self, knowing oneself, loving oneself, etc. That is part of it, but a small part. We are all part of the whole. None of us escapes the thoughts or doings of another. There is no magic bubble of white light to protect us from the matrix of humanity. Besides, we arent here to protect ourselves, but to share ourselves. Through sharing oneself, one truly become one with the self. As a "knowing" child of four years of age, I knew I didnt belong on this planet, and I didnt give a hoot about being here. I spent many of my formative years trying to figure out why I was here. I came up with all the same altruistic reasons many on "the path" come up with: save the planet, save mankind, do good, etc. Guess what? I was wrong. We arent here to save a damn thing, or person. We are here to fully experience being human and feel/own/try/share love love of self, each other, the planet, and everything on it. As a counselor, I get to see many "guilty" people. They are guilty of not loving themselves, their partners, their lives, their jobs, their country, their planet, or whatever. Well, Im here to tell you to start loving yourself! When you do that, you become lovable. We can change the world and every problem on it by simply loving ourselves first and foremost. Do you truly love yourself? Whens the last time you said that to yourself aloud? When is the last time you bought yourself a love present? When is the last time you shared love with a plant, a child, or a rock? When is the last time you did something wonderful for a neighbor? None of us is a stranger. We are all part of the divine force and we all need each other to be here. Whether we choose to make our experience pleasant or nasty is our own choice. We start every day with choices. The big choices facing us right now are what we will do with our beautiful planet and with the whole of humankind. We can continue to hide away and be withdrawn, or we can burst out on the scene. According to many experts, the human race is racing to extinction. I neednt go into that; you can connect to sites online that will educate you about the environmental, political, and emotional disasters of the matrix. Or you can choose to not accept this premise by becoming a human doing. Will you participate in the presidential election, or do you really think beings from the sky are going to come down and save you? Be realistic. We are the beings from the sky. We are on a timeline now to either make or break the human race. I think its worthy of existing and playing the game of survival to win. I want a place to reincarnate if I should choose to. I want a world that my grandchildren can grow up in and live their journey. Do you? Get involved. There are lots of people on this planet that need help, lots of them close to home. Donate time, money, thoughts, education, love, or whatever you feel you have to share with the world. Choose the hard road, not the easy one. It is easy to follow, much harder to lead. Sheep follow, and what happens? They are led to the slaughter. Remember yourself, burst out of the matrix, and lets have a real party!
