Renowned artist Deborah Koff-Chapin has blessed us again with an outpouring of images that continue in the tradition of her original deck of best-selling SoulCards. Whether or not you are familiar with its predecessor, SoulCards 2 is bound to delight your senses, stimulate your imagination, and seduce hidden treasures of inspiration and creativity from the recesses of your heart.

SoulCards 2 comes in an elegantly designed, book-sized box that features thumbnail reproductions of all sixty drawings on the back. If you turn the box around to the front, you'll see that Deborah has created a window that not only exposes the cover illustration for the deck, but also doubles as a frame to hold whatever card you have currently chosen for reflection.

And what choices you will have! Every nuance of human emotion finds a welcome home somewhere among these gorgeous, full-color images. If you are having trouble accessing your feelings, you can simply hold the deck in one hand and slowly gaze at each card in turn, until the spark of emotion within you resonates with one of the images before you. Perhaps then you will be moved to dance…or draw…or sing…or write…or somehow express the feeling that lies waiting for your attention.

That is but one way you can play with this marvelous deck of drawings. If you want more suggestions for deepening your experience with SoulCards 2, you can consult the accompanying guidebook, which offers ideas for enjoying the deck alone, with a friend, or in a group. The possibilities are, quite literally, endless.

Equally endless is Deborah's capacity to access the collective unconscious, that source of all sources that gives rise to images of passion and purification, tenderness and terror, humor and holiness, clarity and confusion, lust and liberation. Deborah Koff-Chapin is a shaman of the soul, an artist who journeys through the medium of paint and paper to bring forth a prolific array of breathtaking images with archetypal power.

SoulCards 2 is destined to join the original SoulCards as an invaluable companion on the road to self-discovery, artistic exploration, and communion with the mysteries that surround and sustain us all.
